Whatever God wills to happen happens, and whatever God does not will does not happen.

Nothing occurs in the heavens or on earth without the Will of God. God is the Creator of everything.

Allah, the Exalted, says:

"... He has created everything, and has ordained for it a measure."   Qur'an  25:2

Belief in divine decree strengthens one's belief in God.

A person realizes that God alone controls everything, so he trusts and relies on Him.

Allah, the Exalted, says:

" If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you lesser sins and admit you to a noble entrance [into Paradise]."   Qur'an  4:31

Divine degree means that everything good or bad, all moments of happiness or sorrow, pleasure or pain come from God.

God hold us accountable for what we can do, what is within our capability, but He does not hold us accountable for things we cannot do, He is Just and, as He has given us only limited responsibility, judges us accordingly, We should think, plan and make the right choices, but, if sometimes things do not turn out the way we want, we need not lose hope or get depressed. We should pray to God and try again. If in the end we still do not achieve what we wanted, we should know we have tried our best and are not responsible for the results.

Allah, the Exalted, says:

"God does not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear."  Qur'an  2:286

God know what the creatures will do, encompassing everything by His knowledge.

He knows all that exists,in entirely and totality, by virtue of His eternal foreknowledge.

Allah, the Exalted, says:

"Truly, nothing is hidden from God, in the earth or in the heaven."   Qur'an  3:5

God has recorded everything that will occur until the Day of Judgement in the Preserved Tablet (al-Lauhal-Mahfut).

The life spans of all human beings are written and the amount of their sustenance apportioned. Everything that is created or occurs in the universe is according to what is recorded there.

Allah, the Exalted, says:

"Did you not know that God knows (all) that is in the heavens and the earth? It is (all) in a record. Surely that is easy for God."  Qur'an  22:70

The following are some major sins in islam, that can never be forgiven no matter how much you pray and can deter us from the path to paradise:

consuming interest:

Consuming interest refers to dealing with riba which Allah has forbidden. Consuming riba (usury) like interest on loans or other exploitative gains made in business or trade is a major sin that is essential to avoid.

Eating the property of Orphan:

Devouring an orphan's wealth is not permissible as an orphan is weak and needs care, and a real believer must handle an orphan's wealth properly and develop it rather than waste it uselessly.

Unlawful earnings

To eat from, or use unlawful earnings; for example, piece of a dead body, or of liquor, or of gambling devices; money received in bribe or by prostitution.

Every Muslim must know about major sins and avoid committing them in order to save themselves severe punishment. If you have ever committed any of  major sins in the past, repent sincerely to Allah and resolve it to never return to it.

Polytheism (Shirk):

Polytheism, idolatry or shirk refers to partners to Allah (SWT) in worship. It appears among one of the most destructive "unforgivable" sin.

Accusing Adultery on women:

People who accuse pure women unjustly of committing adultery and illegal intercourse are cursed in the world and hereafter and deserve serious punishment.

Believing in Astrology and Zodiac signs:

It is considered a major sin "shirk" to believe in fortune telling or any it's kind, including astrology. Allah is the Only One who can define our future.

Investing in Black Magic:

Black magic is also one of the major sins in Islam. Even if we suffer from the repercussions of it ourselves, we are still not allowed to take the path of battling black magic with black magic.

Killing a person:

Murdering or killing a soul whom Allah (SWT) has forbidden us to kill is a great sin.

Sexual Relationships outside of Marriage:

Not to mention, indulging in sexual relationships outside marriage or even normalizing the act of zina is outrightharam (impermissible) in Islam.

Disrespecting Parents:

Disobeying our parents, disrespecting them, and leaving them alone in old age; all of these are deeply frowned upon in Islam. Our parents have major right upon us, and it is up to

us to ease our way to paradise by being there for them while staying loving and patient.

Consuming Alcohol or Drugs:

Consumption of alcohol lies on top of the list of haram (impermissible) deeds in Islam. Taking drugs or getting ourselves involved in its trade is also not permissible and should be avoided at all costs.

Bearing false Witness:

Another one of the greatest sins declared in Islam is to bear false witness. This is when one intentionally lies or hides evidence to avert the course of justice, whether to protect oneself or a loved one.

Allah, the Exalted, says: "Verily, We have created all things with Qadar [Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation as written in the Book of Decree ' Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuuz'] "Qur'an  54:49

Belief in divine degree

Faith in Divine degree is one of the six fundamental beliefs required of a Muslim to complete his faith.

“ So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”
